Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluation and treatment for patients in an acute care setting.
- Screen, assess, and diagnose communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders; determine best course of therapy.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans; set measurable goals and monitor progress.
- Deliver bedside therapy and participate in interdisciplinary rounds; educate patients and families about plans and discharge needs.
- Document assessments, goals, progress notes, and discharge planning in the electronic health record; ensure compliance with privacy and safety standards.

Requirements
- Current licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Experience or demonstrated ability to work in a hospital/acute care environment; comfort with a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.
- Ability to travel and commit to a 13-week assignment starting in November 2026.
