Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will help to deter incidents, stay visible, and contribute to a caring culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 12:00 PM - 08:30 PM Sun 04:00 AM - 12:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, security‑related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points at the location, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document arrivals, departures, and other access‑related activity. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location. Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining awareness of site operations and reporting security‑related concerns in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
