FACILITIES MAINTENANCE MANAGER Liberty Healthcare Management Wilmington, North Carolina, United States About this position Liberty Cares With Compassion Liberty Senior Living is currently seeking an experienced: FACILITIES MAINTENANCE MANAGER JOB SUMMARY: Assists in development and organizing functions of the maintenance systems and departments for new and existing facilities. Oversees renovation projects and coordination of contractors and vendors. Assists in developing and training on facility emergency response policies. Assists in emergency drills in facilities. Services as resource to ensure preventative maintenance programs are in place and on schedule. Serves as a resource for life safety regulations. Sets up community work order systems and monitors compliance with program. Ensures that departments are utilizing cost containment and purchasing contracts to maintain budget. Serves as a back up to the facility maintenance director during vacations, holidays and natural disasters. Assists with negotiation of contracts for life safety systems and preventative maintenance programs. Serves as the coordinator for restorations, refurbishments and insurance claim work. Visits properties regularly to assess facility maintenance department procedures, processes and safety compliance. Audits record keeping of facility maintenance departments. Assists in selection of outside vendors for contract repairs and preventative maintenance. Ensures all vendors meet requirements for liability and worker’s compensation insurance JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be a high school graduate and have a valid Driver’s License. Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a maintenance supervisor in SNF, AL or other relevant healthcare operations experience. Must have relevant recent construction project management experience. Must have a working knowledge of current life safety regulations. Must have a working knowledge of current OSHA standards. Must be accessible to facility Administrators and Maintenance Directors. Must be able to write and read with clarity sufficient to follow instructions. Must attend all required meetings and in-services Must be kind and respectful to residents. Must know how to reset fire alarm panels and pull stations. Must have knowledge of the functions of all roof equipment and generators as well as other equipment in each facility. Must be willing and able to travel to all communities assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr
