Job Description Accountant Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Accountant for a company based in Tuscaloosa, AL. Pay Rate: $100k to 120k per year Schedule and Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm. Accountant Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and publish accurate financial statements (balance sheets, profit and loss, cash flow). Manage accounts payable/receivable, reconcile bank statements, and record daily transactions. Compute taxes, prepare returns, and ensure compliance with IRS and other tax regulations. Collaborate with management to create annual budgets, forecast future costs, and evaluate financial performance. Accountant Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related business field. Many roles require or prefer a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. Strong knowledge of accounting systems like QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Xero, along with advanced spreadsheet skills. In depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles or International Financial Reporting Standards.
