Account Executive

Role / Impact In this role, you will drive the growth and development of Xero's commercial relationships with accounting and bookkeeping partners within your designated territory. By collaborating closely with these partners, you will help them design and execute a clear digital strategy to modernise their practices, delivering positive outcomes for their business while expanding Xero's subscription base. Your day-to-day impact involves managing your territory effectively, identifying new opportunities, and helping small businesses thrive by connecting them with cloud technology. You will play a vital part in building a stronger economy by empowering our partner community and expanding our network of certified experts. Team / How They Connect You will join a collaborative and performance‑driven sales team focused on mutual success and partner enablement. The team works seamlessly alongside technical specialists and partner services to deliver comprehensive workflow solutions and build vibrant communities. Together, we share insights, celebrate achievements, and support one another to achieve collective growth targets. The Team is Currently Working On / Initially, You Will Focus On Engage with new and existing accounting partners to guide their transition to online and cloud‑based practices. Execute quarterly plans to establish a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities. Utilise Salesforce to maintain high account hygiene and track outbound activity. Facilitate partner recruitment events, training webinars, and workshops to strengthen the community. Here Are Some of the Things We Are Looking For You bring a successful background in sales, preferably within a fast‑paced technology or SaaS company. You have a natural ability to build rapid rapport and establish strong relationships with accounting partners. You possess a solutions‑driven mindset along with the initiative to work autonomously and take ownership of processes. You bring a solid understanding of the inner workings and software systems of an accounting practice or SME platform. You have genuine enthusiasm for consultative selling and articulating value based on unique partner needs. Compensation & Total Rewards At Xero, we value the impact and skills you bring. We don’t just hire for a role; we invest in people. While base salary is a core component, we consider your compensation through a holistic lens that includes equity, performance incentives, and world‑class benefits. Expected base salary range for this role in: $66000 - $83000 plus commission USD Individual pay is determined by various factors, including geography, level of experience, and the specific skills you bring to the role. In addition to base pay, Xero provides the following variable compensation: Variable Pay: Permanent employees may participate in our annual bonus and equity (RSU) programs. You may also be eligible for performance‑based cash or equity (RSU) incentives depending on your role level and company performance. Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and 21 days PTO, 10 days of wellbeing leave, 5 days of extra leave, 1 volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, paid parental leave.
