Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in assessing and administering medication to residents. This position involves reporting changes in residents' conditions to physicians and charge nurses, updating family members, and assisting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as needed.

Essential Job Duties

• Administer medications to residents while adhering to the 5 Rights of Medication Administration.
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, and misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
• Notify the charge nurse of any changes in residents' conditions.
• Assist CNAs with responding to call lights and various responsibilities.
• Update physicians and family members about changes in residents' conditions as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as requested.

Required Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a valid Wisconsin LPN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are required.

Position Details
