Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Utica, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts. Floating to other units as needed. Block scheduling not guaranteed.

Highlights:

• 64-bed Emergency Department with diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
• Comprehensive ED environment with 40 acute beds, 2 trauma rooms, 6 super track beds, 10 clinical decision unit beds, 6 psych beds, and 2 triage stations
• High-acuity case mix including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Specialty equipment experience including Rapid Infuser and Arctic Sun therapeutic temperature management systems
• EPIC electronic medical record system utilized
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license required
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience with pediatric experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required at time of submission
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license required
• Local candidates accepted (within 75 miles at local rate)
