About the Role
As the first dedicated talent hire at a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup, you will own recruiting end to end. You will build the hiring function and candidate pipelines, initially focused on engineering and later expanding to other teams.
What You'll Do
Build candidate pipelines from scratch, with an initial focus on engineering roles.
Manage the full candidate lifecycle, including outreach, screening, interview coordination, and closing.
Provide a thoughtful, welcoming candidate experience throughout the process.
Partner with founders to define role requirements and align on candidate profiles.
Support light people operations work, including offer letters and process improvements.
What We're Looking For
At least 4 years of technical recruiting experience, including recruiting software engineers at a B2B SaaS startup.
Experience owning end-to-end engineering hiring and proactively sourcing candidates, including at a rapidly scaling startup.
Agency recruiting experience placing technical candidates at startups.
A track record beyond large-company recruiting, with the ability to build pipelines without relying on brand recognition or inbound applications.
Warm, thoughtful communication with candidates and stakeholders, and experience using Ashby or similar recruiting tools.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $150,000 to $235,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or Green Card holders.
Location
On-site, five days per week in San Francisco, California.
