Sales Consultant

Job Summary Sales Associate at La‑Z‑Boy Furniture Galleries is responsible for selling furniture and accessories while providing excellent customer service and meeting store sales goals. Compensation Base salary of $45,864. No commission during the 2‑6 week training period. After training, total compensation can range from $60,000 to $100,000+ with uncapped commissions of 6–7.5%. The company will not pay less than state or local minimum wage. Key Responsibilities Interact with customers professionally and provide the highest level of service. Drive sales by contributing to store goals through the sale of furniture, accessories, and services. Complete all sales paperwork and resolve customer service issues promptly. Attend and participate in company training and store meetings. Assist in training, coaching, and developing new peers on product knowledge and selling processes. Accurately complete order information, collect deposits and fees, keep orderly customer records, and research payments and deliveries. Follow company policies, including those against harassment, attendance, and sales procedures. Requirements Minimum High school diploma or GED. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate, build rapport, and positively influence. Vocational or technical training in the field of study. Ability to bend, lift, and stand for long periods. Reliable transportation to travel to customer homes. Preferred Previous selling experience and strong closing skills. Organizational and problem‑solving skills.
