Per Diem Dietitian OpportunityErie County Medical Center, 462 Grider St. Buffalo, NY 14215We are seeking a Per Diem Dietitian who is passionate about Clinical Nutrition and delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced hospital setting and demonstrate compassion, strong communication skills, and a commitment to supporting specialized health and dietary needs.Duties:Assesses patients in accordance with hospital policy utilizing the Nutrition Care ProcessProvides nutrition education to patients and/or caregivers based on assessment of individual learning needs.Works closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide inpatient care that is integrated and compatible with the patient focused medical goals.Conducts in-services on nutrition subjects relevant to patient care.Participate in the development, implementation and updates of internal policies and procedures.Serves as nutrition representative at meetings and/or committees as needed.Collaborate with culinary and production teams regarding patient menus; make appropriate recommendations for improving the nutritional content of menus.Support the use of the Diet Office Software Technology.Adheres to practice standards established by local, state and national agencies.Performs other duties as required in relation to job function.Metz Culinary Management is growing, and we have openings for a Registered Dietitian who shares our passion for Clinical Nutrition and unprecedented client care.
