Lead Fabricator/ CNC Programmer

*CNC programming, set up & operation of CNC Vertical Mills for standard & custom parts
*Set-up and break-down of machining centers as well as scheduling PM and cleaning
*Knowledge of trouble shooting machines
*Create schedules for machining centers based on production schedule
*Train and oversee machine operators
*Must be familiar with steel and aluminum
*Work on other shop equipment such as manual mills, press-brake, saws, lathe, drills, etc.
*Draw, read and interpret prints, plans, sketches, and shop drawings.
*Work with designers and management to achieve customers' satisfaction.
*Maintain a high level of production while maintaining quality
*Responding to quick turnaround orders; Some overtime required
*Performing well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
*Maintain clean equipment and work area
*Forklift certified preferred
*Perform related duties, as assigned

*Trade school graduate, or equivalent.
*5+ years of programming experience with CNC Vertical Machining Centers
*Knowledge of Auto CAD, Solidworks and MasterCam
*Knowledge of wood & Plexiglas a plus
*Strong knowledge of shop practices and skill in using shop tools and equipment.
*Ability to ACCURATELY read tape measure & blueprints and translate into fabricated products using fractions & decimal places
*Experience with Laminates and veneers a plus
*Must have reliable transportation
*Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform related duties and responsibilities of this job, including lifting up to 75 lbs.
