Provides clerical and administrative support to the Deputy Director and the Licensing staff, exercising discretion and independent judgment. Duties include answering telephone, screening mail and responding to routine correspondence and inquiries, coordinating activities, composing form letters, routine correspondence, and factual reports.

Applicants are subject to an extensive background investigation by the WV Lottery Security Division. No person shall be appointed, employed, or continue to serve in any position or employment with the commission who has been convicted of any violation of the lottery law or of any felony or any crime related to theft or gambling. The commission shall remove or discharge any person so convicted.

Minimum Qualifications
Training: Graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent.

AND

Experience: Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience performing clerical duties.

OR

Substitution: College hours or vocational training may be substituted for the required experience.
