Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery. The role involves providing comprehensive maternal care, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal vital signs to identify any complications.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Assist during labor and delivery, providing support and intervention as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery experience with Level I certification.
• Hold current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN certifications.
• licensed to practice in Michigan.
• Demonstrate proficiency in maternal and neonatal assessments and interventions.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure obstetric environments.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
