You will be joining a talented team that monitors and maintains a variety of air and water quality systems pertaining to the Field Technician title - paint booth at an automotive manufacturing site. In this position you will provide customers with problem solving support, generating a high level of customer satisfaction. How You’ll Make an Impact: Operate, monitor, and trouble-shoot the facility and its processes in accordance with established procedures Perform testing on lab samples, analyze and record results and data in accordance with company and regulatory requirements Perform daily process application quality analysis using small intricate parts Provide routine and special application service support to customers Execute required chemistry tests Log and report data Maintain product inventories Provide technical support to customers Troubleshoot and maintain systems as needed Use a fluke meter to check sensitivity Operate a test stand verifying air and fluid leaks Position Details: Location: Flat Rock, MI Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 6PM-6AM AND Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6PM-6AM (Rotating Weeks) What’s Unique About This Role: You’ll work in a dynamic, hands-on environment with autonomy and support You’ll help customers meet sustainability goals while protecting their critical assets You’ll gain access to industry-leading training and development programs Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite Immigration Sponsorship not available for this opportunity Preferred Qualifications: Experience working independently in an industrial setting Demonstrate mechanical aptitude Previous experience in Industrial Wastewater Treatment or Maintenance Mechanical problem-solving experience (e.g. plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and/or mechanical experience) Strong customer service skills; proven ability to interface positively and professionally with the customer Analyze readings and put data in a spreadsheet in a logical manner Verbal and written communication skills Previous experience explaining results of data gatherings Physical Requirements of Position: Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds chest high Wearing and using a respirator under certain conditions Working in a variety of conditions including confined spaces, damp/dusty areas, and extreme temperatures Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, climbing Working indoors and outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions Ecolab is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to qualified individuals with a disability. Annual or Hourly Compensation Range The pay range for this position is $44,200-$66,200. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
