Civil Litigation Attorney – Construction Defect & Business LitigationA respected law firm is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its Washington team. This is a fully remote opportunity for an attorney with at least five years of civil litigation experience and a background in construction defect, business litigation, or related civil litigation matters.The firm offers the opportunity to handle substantive litigation matters while working remotely and managing a caseload that will vary based on your experience.Position ResponsibilitiesManage civil litigation matters from inception through resolutionHandle construction defect and business litigation mattersDevelop case strategy and independently manage assigned casesDraft pleadings, motions, discovery responses and other legal documentsConduct and defend depositionsParticipate in hearings, mediations and other proceedingsCommunicate directly with clients, opposing counsel and other partiesConduct legal research and prepare for litigation proceedingsMaintain an organized and manageable caseloadQualifications 5+ years of civil litigation experience Experience with construction defect and/or business litigationStrong legal research and writing skillsExperience handling litigation matters with a high degree of independenceStrong oral advocacy and communication skillsActive Washington State Bar licenseAbility to effectively manage deadlines and competing prioritiesCompensation & Benefits $110,000–$180,000 , depending on experience 1,800 annual billable hours Full benefits package Fully remote position Why Consider This Opportunity?This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Washington litigator who wants to continue doing meaningful civil litigation work without giving up the flexibility of a remote practice.
