Description Department: Transportation Location: Raleigh, NC Company Overview: DRMP is expanding its transportation engineering services to serve clients in the Mid-Atlantic region, including the Carolinas and Virginia. Position Overview: This role involves participating in traffic analysis projects, collaborating with project managers, and supporting client communications. Mentoring new associates and ensuring project documentation are also key responsibilities. Primary Responsibilities: Perform engineering calculations and analyses based on design criteria. Collaborate with project managers and clients. Maintain project and permitting updates. Schedule and document meetings. Support communication with clients and stakeholders. Analyze technical problems and develop solutions. Coordinate with review agencies for transportation projects. Mentor new team members. Ensure timely submission of project data and reports. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; E.I. certification required in the work state, or an associate’s/technical degree in a related field. 0-4 years of experience in public/private projects, preferably in A/E/C industry. Experience with Synchro/SimTraffic and HCS. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of project management procedures. Effective communication and organizational skills.
