Enterprise Technical Account Executive

Role Summary Our Enterprise Business team drives strategic, platform-level transformation for large organizations with 10,000+ employees. In an AI‑driven environment, we aim to close the gap between business value and technical feasibility early in the engagement. This role seeks a Technically Fluent Account Executive who serves as a technology advisor, building credibility and trust with technical buyers while managing the full sales cycle. Verticals Financial Services Healthcare & Life Sciences Manufacturing, Retail & Consumer Goods Comms, Media, Telecom and Tech Consumer Business Services Public Sector Mulesoft Data Cloud Agentforce Key Responsibilities Strategic Account & Platform Leadership Drive early‑stage technical discussions, explaining emerging AI concepts to stakeholders. Act as the “Chief Architect of the Deal,” explaining how Salesforce products integrate to deliver business outcomes. Provide product overviews and technical roadmaps, answering complex solution questions during discovery. Simplify complex solutions for business stakeholders while maintaining technical accuracy. Value‑Based Selling & Platform Proficiency Use a consultative, challenger approach to diagnose business challenges and articulate technical solutions that deliver value. Communicate Salesforce’s competitive advantage and the rationale for using our platform. Strategic Account & Sales Execution Develop long‑term strategies for accounts or territories focused on platform adoption and business alignment. Build trusted relationships with C‑suite and technical decision makers, showcasing executive presence. Collaborate across functions in a matrixed organization, coordinating internal resources. Required Qualifications Experience managing a large key account or complex territory with a focus on expansion and platform consolidation. Track record of high achievement, consistently meeting or exceeding annual quotas. 3–5 years in Enterprise Sales selling complex, multi‑product SaaS/Cloud solutions. Deep technical acumen from prior roles as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Platform Specialist. Product knowledge that builds instant credibility with technical buyers; problem‑solving skills aligning solutions to customer challenges. Preferred Qualifications Excellent at discovery and communicating complex concepts simply. Ability to explain technical models and architectural blueprints to both business and technical stakeholders. Familiarity with Salesforce AI/Data Cloud, Platform, and Integration/MuleSoft or equivalent platforms. Proficiency in whiteboarding complex data flows, API strategies, and multi‑cloud architecture.
