E-Commerce Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for an E-Commerce Specialist to support online retail operations and strengthen marketplace performance across key digital channels. This Long-term Contract position is based in New York, New York, and focuses on maintaining accurate product content, improving listings, and helping drive a consistent customer shopping experience. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with marketplace platforms, retail e-commerce processes, and content management tools in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Manage product listings across e-commerce platforms such as eBay and Amazon, ensuring content is accurate, complete, and aligned with brand standards.
• Maintain and update product information within the content management system to support timely launches, revisions, and ongoing catalog accuracy.
• Monitor Amazon Marketplace and Amazon Retail activity to improve listing quality, visibility, and overall online merchandising effectiveness.
• Coordinate routine audits of product pages, images, descriptions, pricing, and category placement to identify and resolve inconsistencies.
• Support day-to-day retail e-commerce operations by tracking marketplace performance and helping address content-related issues that affect sales or customer experience.
• Collaborate with internal partners to organize digital product data, streamline updates, and maintain consistency across online sales channels.
• Assist with platform-related changes or operational updates affecting online listings, when needed, as part of broader e-commerce support activities.• Experience working with eBay in a detail-focused e-commerce or online retail environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of Amazon Marketplace and Amazon Retail listing management.
• Proficiency with content management systems used to maintain digital product information.
• Background in retail e-commerce with an understanding of online merchandising and catalog quality control.
• Ability to manage detailed product data with a high level of accuracy and organization.
• Strong communication and coordination skills for working across teams and priorities.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving setting with multiple updates, deadlines, and platform requirements.
