Job Details Location: Cleveland, OH 44106 Setting: Medical/Surgical, 24-bed general medicine unit Employment Type: Travel RN Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Start Date: 8/23/2026 End Date: 11/21/2026 Team Environment: 3-lead telemetry with continuous vital sign monitoring Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license At least 1 year of RN experience in a med/surg or acute care setting Ability to take a full patient assignment and work independently in a fast-paced hospital nursing environment Strong understanding of the 5 rights of medication administration Experience with wound care, admissions, discharges, and documentation to policy Solid critical thinking and clinical judgment skills Willingness to complete unit competency during orientation Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled Responsibilities Provide high-quality med/surg nursing care to medically complex and surgical patients Administer medications safely and accurately using the 5 rights of medication administration Complete wound care treatments per provider orders Perform admissions, discharges, and patient documentation according to hospital policy Monitor patients on a 3-lead telemetry unit and respond to clinical changes promptly Support continuous vital sign monitoring, including pulse ox, heart rate, and respiratory rate Collaborate with the care team to promote positive outcomes for geriatric and adult patients Deliver thoughtful, age-friendly care with a focus on comfort, safety, and dignity Apply now for this travel nursing job in Cleveland, Ohio and join a supportive healthcare team committed to excellent patient care.
