Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures by conducting thorough assessments and explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety.
• Assist with the setup of imaging equipment such as CT scanners and maintain sterile technique during invasive procedures.
• Administer medications including IV infusions, sedation, or Botulinum toxin treatments per physician orders.
• Continuously monitor patient vital signs during procedures and respond promptly to any adverse changes.
• Support post-procedure recovery by assessing patient status, managing pain, and providing discharge instructions.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
