About the Position

Job Title: Interventional Radiology RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 4x10.0 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience Description: Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures by conducting thorough assessments and explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety. Assist with the setup of imaging equipment and facilitate sterile technique during invasive procedures. Administer medications including IV infusions, sedation, or Botulinum toxin treatments following physician orders. Monitor patient vital signs continuously during procedures and respond promptly to any adverse changes. Support post-procedure recovery by assessing patient status, managing pain, and providing discharge instructions.
