Title: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Duration: Contract Assignment

Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts

Shift Timing: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry to provide quality patient care in an acute care hospital setting. The RN will care for a diverse adult patient population and must be comfortable floating to other units as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms when required
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
• Float to appropriate units based on facility needs

Patient Population:

• General Medical-Surgical patients
• Elderly patients with complex healthcare needs
• Respiratory illnesses
• Infections
• Dementia
• Neurological conditions

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN License required
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• NIHSS Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

Additional Information:

• Floating required based on staffing and census needs
• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
• Supportive team environment with dedicated Charge RN coverage on every shift
