Service Advisor

Service Advisor The Service Advisor is the primary point-of-contact for customers having their vehicles serviced at the dealership. Key Responsibilities Schedules service appointments by gathering as much information on the needed repairs as possible. Greets customers on the Service Drive, performs a vehicle walk-around, and properly documents customer concerns for the technicians. Keeps customers informed on needed repairs, changes in cost quotes and the time vehicles will be ready for pick up. Completes an active delivery at the time of customer pick-up, reviews all work performed and goes over the final bill. Maintains excellent customer service scores. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities provided by the company/manufacturer. Core Requirements At least one year of previous automotive service experience. Outstanding organization and follow-up skills. Desire to provide a high level of customer service. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient with computers. Must be goal-driven and have a strong desire to succeed.
