ShopGoodwill.com ManagerSTATUS: Non-Exempt / Full-Time DEPARTMENT: ShopGoodwill REPORTS TO: Vice President of Donated Goods SAFETY SENSITIVE: HIGH - Position is subject to pre-employment physical and, drug & alcohol screening. This is a full-time 40 hours per week position and is eligible for company benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off. Location - ShopGoodwill - 2007 Sebastopol Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95407. The starting wage for this position is $35.00 per hour.CHARACTERISTICS OF THE JOB: The ShopGoodwill.com Manager is responsible for all facets of cyber operations including financial performance, personnel management, collections, processing, loss control while ensuring maximum profitability and efficiency and a positive image of GIRE in the community. The ShopGoodwill.com Manager is expected to maintain an active presence in ShopGoodwill during scheduled hours of operation and will travel across the Goodwill ~ Redwood Empire service area as directed. PROVIDES SUPERVISION TO: ShopGoodwill staff RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Own and drive ShopGoodwill revenue performance, ensuring achievement of financial targets and revenue growthUtilize data analytics to understand variances and progress of KPIs. Responsible for ensuring that all reporting of sales and production data is delivered timely to the appropriate stakeholdersEnsure internal and external policies, procedures and standards are metImplement and maintain procedures to maximize efficiency in production, sales, customer service and receipt of store donations with a focus on continuous improvementConsistently deliver high-quality customer service, resolving all customer issues in a satisfactory and timely mannerManage end-to-end processes required for online sales and shipping, including maintaining relationships with external partners and vendors.Manage the front-end website experience, category strategy, landing pages, product assortment, pricing, and overall merchandising mixEnsure that safety standards are metProvide training and effective communication to store management to maximize the quality of donated goods being sent to cyber storeMaintain a team-oriented environment. Manage ShopGoodwill team within Goodwill guiding principlesCreate accountability through training and development of all employees on job responsibilities, work habits, and policies and procedures of GIRE.Ensure that all department administrative functions are carried out timely and efficientlyIdentify and communicate recommendations to improve user experience, sales conversion, and opportunities for revenue growth.ANCILLARY FUNCTIONS:Back up any position in the department as needed to accomplish goals.Engage in professional development.Assume responsibility in an emergency event.Actively participate in all trainings and meetingsRespond to facility needs outside regular business hours (e.g. alarm calls, emergencies, etc.)Present yourself and GIRE positively and professionally at all times.Exhibit positive leadership resulting in a positive work atmosphere for customers, clients, participants, co-workers, and management.Perform other job-related duties as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma required; post-secondary education with an emphasis in Business preferred.3 years of proven management experience in an increasingly responsible supervisory/management position, management experience in an online sales environment is preferred.Ability to demonstrate growth of business and process improvementValid CA Class C Driver's License and proof of personal auto insuranceMust have access to a reliable passenger vehicle that supports completion of essential and ancillary functions of the positionComputer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook at proficient levelSuperior organizational and general administrative skillsDeveloped leadership skills resulting in strong ability to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve resultsMust be able to work a flexible scheduleAbility to read, write and speak English clearly and fluentlyAbility to perform basic math functionsDESIRED TRAITS AND COMPETENCIESRespect of othersAbility to perform effectively and cooperatively as part of a teamExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse populationExcellent attention to detailBilingual, English and Spanish preferredWORK ENVIRONMENT : Exposure to low level noise.
