Location: Vestal, NY
Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday

Shift Schedule

Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant (MA) will support both front-office and back-office clinical operations. Responsibilities include greeting and rooming patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, taking vital signs, drawing blood, administering vaccines, and providing additional clinical support as needed.

The successful candidate will maintain a collaborative and professional relationship with the healthcare team and contribute to a patient-centered environment focused on health education and outreach.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, excluding externship experience.
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred.
Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
Strong computer skills.
Passion for working in an environment where health education and community outreach are valued.
