Insurance Coverage Attorney

Overview Kennedys, a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked global law firm serving insurers and the London market, is seeking motivated and dynamic attorneys to join its national and international insurance coverage litigation practice. This is a hybrid position based in our Chicago office. Responsibilities Leverage at least four years of relevant coverage experience, including a strong litigation background, in handling insurance coverage matters. Analyze coverage issues, draft coverage opinions, pleadings, and dispositive motions, and conduct discovery in insurance coverage litigation. Manage depositions, attend court conferences, and argue motions, demonstrating strong writing skills and effective advocacy. Engage in litigating coverage matters with attention to quality of work and client service. Qualifications Admitted to practice and in good standing in Illinois. Additional admissions in other states are a plus. Strong writing skills and experience with litigating coverage matters. Benefits and Compensation Competitive salary, annual performance-based raises, discretionary bonus, and benefits package offered. 1920 hour requirement. Will consider hybrid work arrangements.
