Status: Part-time

Shift: Days 

Get ready to become a cellular detective! Under general supervision, you'll prepare and stain specimens from all kinds of body sites and dive into the microscopic world to spot cancer and other abnormalities. You'll be the expert who issues diagnostic reports on normal (negative) gynecological specimens—talk about making a real difference! Plus, you'll team up with clinicians at aspiration biopsy sites, expertly preparing smears and ensuring specimens are collected and processed to perfection. It's challenging, rewarding work that combines scientific precision with genuine impact on patient care.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree with successful completion in CAAHEP accredited program in cytotechnology or fulfill CLIA88 requirements for cytotechnologist as stated in Federal Register 493.1483, if prior to 1992.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

• ASCP eligibility or certification in cytotechnology.
