Rehab Director - COTA

Serve as the primary Legacy representative at the facility Promote Legacy policies, clinical programs, and mission Create rapport and positive working relationships with facility personnel and Legacy employees Oversee internal marketing efforts and communicate Legacy programs and offerings Manage site productivity and make necessary changes to achieve budget Maintain a caseload that assists the rehab department in meeting standards Assess patient needs and develop clinical programs appropriate for facility census Direct and train others in clinical service delivery across disciplines Coordinate the rehab department daily with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming Participate in clinical outcomes reporting and share results with the customer Manage staff schedules to meet caseload requirements and use scheduling tools for patient schedules Manage CliniFax and physician signatures on therapy plans of care Maintain team relationships and open communication among rehab staff, facility staff, and Legacy corporate personnel Assist with staff orientation and training to meet company, state, and federal standards Requirements Clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Speech Language Pathologies (SLP) Three to five years’ experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living Some prior supervisory experience preferred but not required Minimum of a degree from accredited college or university or equivalent experience (i.e., degree in PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP) Licensed and registered (PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP) in state where assigned Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in clinical program development and patient assessment, with a strong focus on managing therapy services and staff coordination in long-term care settings. Proven ability to foster relationships and communicate effectively with diverse teams to enhance service delivery and meet organizational standards.
