Supply Chain Specialist

Job Description This position is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of medical equipment within all aspects of iMedical’s supply chain operations. They are responsible for ensuring that the supply chain is efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the company’s goals. Responsibilities Strategic Planning: You will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan that aligns with the organization’s objectives. This means setting goals and objectives, developing strategies to achieve them, and forecasting future demand to ensure the supply is always available. Procurement and Sourcing: Procurement and sourcing involve the identification and selection of suppliers, including negotiating contracts and agreements. You will be responsible for ensuring that suppliers are reliable, cost-effective, and meet the company’s quality standards. Inventory Management and Control: As a specialist in supply chain management, you will be responsible for determining the optimal amount of inventory to ensure that the company can meet customer demand without overstocking. You will manage inventory levels, monitor stock levels, and track inventory in real-time. Supplier and Vendor Relations: One critical aspect of Supply Chain management is maintaining positive relationships with suppliers. As a specialist, you will utilize your relationship building skill to ensure that suppliers provide reliable, timely and quality supplies. Performance Monitoring and Reporting Analytics: You will be responsible for monitoring performance across the entire supply chain. You will build dashboards and reports to track performance in real-time, analyze data, and identify areas for optimization and improvement. Risk Management and Compliance: You are also responsible for ensuring that the company meets all compliance requirements, from the appropriate handling of hazardous materials to maintaining appropriate documentation. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying potential risks to the supply chain and putting measures in place to mitigate them. Quality Control: Ensure the medical equipment procured is of high quality and meets all necessary certifications and standards. Regularly inspect and verify the functionality of installed equipment. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical staff, biomedical engineers, and IT specialists, to define the equipment needs, specifications, and requirements. Ensure equipment meets all necessary safety and compliance standards. Communication: Regularly communicates with management on important problems or updates. Collaborate with QA Manager to review processes and procedures to create, maintain and update according to iMedical’s expectations. Facilitate training sessions and workshops for other team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to build your inventory levels and programs correctly. Archive all project documentation upon completion for historical reference and compliance purposes, ensuring all materials are accurately cataloged and accessible. Establish, maintain, and foster positive harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. Performs and assists managers with any other duties or tasks assigned within the iMedical facility.
