We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Coordinator to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP, QuickBooks, Not for Profit budgeting and Grant funded accounting. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, managing revenue, and overseeing fiscal management processes within the organization.

Duties

• Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
• Manage revenue recognition processes and ensure proper accounting for all income streams.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and reports to monitor financial performance against goals.
• Ensure effective fiscal management by implementing internal controls and auditing procedures.
• Support the accounting team in day-to-day operations, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Stay updated on technical accounting developments and regulatory changes that may impact the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting management or a similar role with a strong understanding of not for profit grant management.
• Proficiency in financial statement preparation, fiscal management, and revenue management practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
