Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Description Job Description No evening or weekend shifts required. Our office operates from Monday to Thursday, 7 AM to 5 PM, and Friday from 7 AM to 1 PM. This is a full-time opportunity. We are in search of a Dental Hygienist who radiates positivity, possesses strong multitasking abilities, takes initiative, and is eager to learn. Key responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to: Preparing dental hygiene instruments by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting appropriate tools. Applying fluoride treatments and sealants to help prevent dental decay. Performing dental prophylaxis by removing deposits and stains from teeth and below gum lines. Identifying diseases through oral cancer screenings, examining gums, and using probes to detect periodontal issues and assess recession levels. Taking digital X-rays and utilizing an intraoral camera. Documenting conditions of dental decay and disease for the dentist's diagnosis and treatment planning. Familiarity with Eaglesoft/Dexis is advantageous but not mandatory. Time allocations: 1 hour for prophylaxis, 1.5 hours for scaling and root planing, and 1.5 hours for new patient appointments.
