Promoter
The Promoter is responsible for generating excitement and increasing guest traffic to The Rockhouse by building relationships, networking within the local hospitality and tourism community, and actively promoting the venue's events, entertainment, food and beverage offerings, and VIP experiences. This position plays a key role in driving sales, creating memorable guest experiences, and developing a loyal customer base.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Promote The Rockhouse through personal networking, social media, and community outreach.
- Build and maintain relationships with hotel concierge teams, hospitality professionals, convention attendees, local businesses, and repeat guests.
- Generate guest lists, group reservations, birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and VIP experiences.
- Drive sales by increasing guest attendance and beverage revenue.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly promotional goals established by management.
- Maintain an organized database of guests and prospective customers for ongoing marketing efforts.
- Utilize social media platforms to advertise events, specials, and entertainment while maintaining brand standards.
- Distribute promotional materials when appropriate and represent The Rockhouse at approved marketing events.
- Welcome and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and exceptional customer service.
- Stay informed of upcoming entertainment schedules, promotions, sporting events, menus, and venue offerings.
- Collaborate with management, marketing, security, hosts, and operations to execute successful events.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing The Rockhouse.
- Comply with all company policies, responsible alcohol service standards, and Nevada liquor regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume entertainment environment.
- Ability to lift and carry promotional materials up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors as business needs require.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in nightlife, hospitality, restaurant, bar, or entertainment promotions preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve sales goals.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
