They are passionate about the markets we serve and are dedicated to high-performance .ResponsibilitiesBuilding relationships with current clients through demonstration of in-depth institutional knowledge, understanding of specific institutional needs or priorities, and the ability to propose custom research solutionsNavigating Hanover’s partnership offerings on behalf of the organization, ensuring the appropriate service is provided to meet the client’s needsDetermining appropriate tactics to drive urgency in the renewal and upsell cycleCreating the opportunity to expand existing relationships through cross-sell opportunities of other service offeringsEducating contacts on the benefits of Hanover's products and services through compelling articulation of our business model and value propositionCreating customized account plans for each organization, outlining service delivery and revenue-growth strategies for existing and potential clientsCollaborating with the Content team to ensure targeted and substantive solution deliveryMeet challenging monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goalsPredicting cash retention probability and reporting findings to senior leadershipAverage client pool size will range from $3 M to $4MWillingness to travel 10-25% to client sitesQualificationsDesired Skills and AttributesBachelor’s degree in business, social sciences, education, communications, political science, economics, psychology, public policy or similar is highly preferred10 + years of Account Management or Sales experienceExperience within the Education field is highly desirableExcellent oral and written communication skillsWillingness to work outside the strict job description parameters, thinking creatively about how to provide the highest level of client service and commercial strategiesAbility to develop relationships, establish credibility, and conduct substantive content discussions with decision makersExcellent problem-solving skills and strong ability to think strategically about client managementAbility to diagnose client needs and identify relevant s olutionsBe comfortable asking for business and resilient in pursuing revenue opportunitiesLocationDMV region preferred (office in Arlington VA)Remote option available#LI-Remote # RemoteBenefitsCompetitive base salary and uncapped commission earning potentialAward-winning training program on markets, research methodologies and sales skillsTop performers will be eligible for an annual sales incentive tripStarting at 18+ days Paid Time Off1 4 paid holidays including Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Juneteenth, Indigenous People’s Day, and personal holidays401(K) employer matching programComprehensive health and dental benefits packageHealth and wellness packages with discounts to local gymCommunity service opportunitiesCompensationHanover Research strives to create compensation and benefits programs that are competitive, equitable and fair. The On Target Earning (OTE) range for this role is $ 190,000 to $ 220,000 per year, which is comprised of a base salary range from $ 110 ,000- $ 1 20 ,000 and a variable uncapped commission structure ranging from $ 80,000 - $100,000 when goal is 100% obtained for this role . Please note that the base salary offered is contingent on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
