Position Summary

We are seeking a collaborative, action-oriented Employee & Labor Relations Partner with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience to join our HR team. In this role, you will provide critical dual-focus support across employee and labor relations, serving as a trusted consultant to leadership on performance management, corrective actions, policy compliance, and complex workplace accommodations. You will also lead objective workplace investigations to foster a fair, respectful, and compliant work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of dedicated employee relations experience (3–5 years preferred).
• Investigations: Demonstrated hands-on experience independently conducting and documenting complex workplace investigations.
• Consultation & Performance Management: Proven track record of consulting with leadership on performance management, corrective action plans, and employee coaching.
• Accommodations: Direct experience managing ADA, pregnancy, and religious accommodation processes.
• Core Competencies: strong critical thinking, active listening, relationship-building, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Environment & Tech: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly matrixed organization. Must be comfortable using personal equipment for work (Windows-based PC strongly preferred).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Industry Experience: Healthcare industry experience is a major bonus.
• HR Systems: Familiarity with case management tools (e.g., HR Acuity) and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday). Training will be provided.
• Labor Relations: Prior hands-on experience in labor relations or unionized environments.

Responsibilities

• Workplace Investigations: Lead end-to-end workplace investigations regarding allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, and policy violations; document findings and recommend appropriate resolutions.
• Leadership Consultation: Advise managers and leaders on performance management strategies, progressive discipline, corrective actions, and policy or labor contract interpretations.
• Accommodations Management: Oversee and facilitate employee accommodation requests, including ADA, pregnancy, and religious accommodations.
• Labor & Employee Relations: Serve as a core contact for labor relations inquiries, guiding managers through collective bargaining/labor agreement guidelines and workplace conflict resolution.
• Case Management & Data Tracking: Maintain detailed, confidential case files using case management software ( HR Acuity ) and cross-reference employee data within  Workday .
