Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular

SCHEDULE
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Weeks: 13
Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

REQUIREMENTS
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
- At least two years recent experience in field: Required
- Cardiovascular with open heart recovery training: Required
- Balloon pump/open heart experience: Required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a group of patients according to established standards of care.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
- Collaborate with the patient, family, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Conduct assessments, analyze data, and determine nursing diagnoses and care issues.
- Implement care plans and evaluate patient progress toward outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families related to health information and discharge planning.
