Director of Corporate Marketing

The Director of Corporate Marketing is responsible for leading the strategy, creative direction, and execution of all corporate marketing initiatives for Pegasus Residential.
This role serves as the steward of the Pegasus brand and is responsible for ensuring consistent brand positioning across all corporate communications, digital platforms, recruiting initiatives, public relations efforts, thought leadership programs, and business development support. The ideal candidate is both highly creative and highly execution-oriented. They possess the ability to develop compelling marketing strategies, create differentiated campaigns, and successfully execute initiatives from concept through completion. This individual must be capable of moving beyond tactical marketing activities and providing strategic recommendations that elevate brand awareness, strengthen market positioning, attract top talent, and support business growth. - Own and evolve the Pegasus Residential brand strategy.
• Define and maintain brand standards across all channels.
• Ensure consistency in messaging, design, storytelling, and brand experience.
• Develop campaigns that differentiate Pegasus from competitors.
• Create marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness and recognition.
• Partner with executive leadership to define and communicate company positioning.
- Develop annual and quarterly corporate marketing strategies.
• Translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans.
• Establish clear campaign goals, messaging pillars, target audiences, KPIs, and success measurements.
• Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
• Maintain a proactive roadmap of initiatives and campaigns.
- Lead concept development for all corporate campaigns.
• Develop innovative, attention-grabbing marketing ideas that stand out in the marketplace.
• Create campaigns that generate awareness, engagement, and conversation.
• Challenge traditional multifamily marketing approaches and bring fresh perspectives to the organization.
• Direct creative execution across graphic design, video, social media, website content, presentations, and advertising.
- Position Pegasus as an employer of choice.
• Develop recruiting campaigns that attract talent both inside and outside the multifamily industry.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to strengthen employer branding efforts.
• Create campaigns highlighting culture, career growth, leadership development, and associate success stories.
• Manage Glassdoor and employer reputation initiatives.
- Own the corporate social media strategy.
• Develop LinkedIn, social media, and digital advertising campaigns.
• Expand brand awareness and audience engagement across channels.
• Create content strategies that support recruiting, business development, thought leadership, and culture initiatives.
• Monitor engagement, performance, and optimization opportunities.
- Partner closely with Business Development to support lead generation and client acquisition efforts.
• Develop marketing materials, campaigns, presentations, and thought leadership content.
• Create content that reinforces Pegasus’ value proposition.
• Support pitch deck development and ongoing refinement.
- Serve as owner of the Pegasus Residential corporate website.
• Ensure website content remains accurate, current, and aligned with brand positioning.
• Drive website enhancements focused on user experience, lead generation, recruiting, SEO, GEO, AEO, and AI search optimization.
• Manage website content strategy and ongoing updates.
- Develop and manage the annual PR roadmap.
• Increase visibility for Pegasus leaders through speaking engagements, publications, awards, and industry recognition.
• Manage thought leadership initiatives, including podcasts, articles, videos, and social content.
• Position Pegasus as an industry leader and trusted expert.
- Own strategy, guest pipeline, scheduling, content planning, and promotion for On Air with Jackie Ware.
• Develop annual content themes and guest roadmaps.
• Maintain podcast performance reporting and guest management processes.
• Coordinate with support teams for production and distribution.
- Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, and executive reporting.
• Proactively identify risks and communicate solutions.
• Ensure projects move from concept to completion without requiring executive intervention.
• Demonstrate strong follow-through and attention to detail.
- Serve as the Corporate Marketing lead for the annual Pegasus Leadership Conference.
• Develop and execute the conference marketing strategy, budget, theme, branding, and attendee experience.
• Partner with executive leadership, Learning & Development, Operations, and Business Development to ensure conference objectives are achieved.
• Manage conference creative assets, presentations, signage, communications, promotional materials, videos, photography, and social media coverage.
• Oversee conference content planning, storytelling, and messaging to ensure alignment with the Pegasus brand.
• Coordinate pre-event, onsite, and post-event marketing communications.
• Measure engagement and gather feedback to continuously improve future events.
• Ensure the conference delivers a professional, memorable, and brand-enhancing experience for associates, clients, vendors, and leadership.
- 7+ years of progressive multifamily marketing experience
• 3+ years leading corporate marketing, brand marketing, or strategic marketing initiatives
• Experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
• Experience presenting marketing strategies and recommendations to senior leadership
• Strong project management and deadline management skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced experience with LinkedIn, social media strategy, and content marketing
• Experience managing corporate websites, content strategy, and digital marketing initiatives
• Experience supporting Business Development or Sales organizations
• Experience with public relations, media relations, or thought leadership campaigns
• Experience managing podcasts, webinars, video content, or executive branding initiatives
• Knowledge of SEO, GEO, AEO, AI search optimization, and digital advertising
• Experience working with website platforms, marketing vendors, and advertising agencies
• Strong proficiency in Canva, PowerPoint, and marketing presentation development
