We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for a temp to hire opportunity in Canonsburg, PA, supporting residential and commercial customers for a gas and electric utility environment. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys solving problems, explaining account information clearly, and delivering dependable service in a high-volume call center setting.

The Customer Service Representative will serve as a key point of contact for customers with questions about billing, payments, service requests, outages, utility programs, and account updates. Key Responsibilities

- Answer a high volume of inbound customer calls while providing professional, courteous, and timely support.
- Assist customers with billing questions, payment arrangements, account inquiries, service requests, and account updates.
- Process requests for new service connections, transfers, disconnections, and other customer account changes.
- Troubleshoot basic service concerns and coordinate with field operations or internal departments as needed.
- Educate customers on utility programs, energy-saving initiatives, assistance options, and company policies.
- Document customer interactions accurately while following compliance, confidentiality, quality, and call handling standards.
