Four Squared Woodworking is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced cabinet builder who takes pride in craftsmanship, accuracy, and building exceptional custom cabinetry.

We build high-end custom cabinetry and architectural woodwork for some of Nashville’s finest homes. Our work requires attention to detail, strong woodworking skills, and the ability to build accurately from drawings—not simply assemble production cabinets.

If you have 3+ years of professional cabinetmaking or custom woodworking experience and want to continue developing your craft in a growing shop, we’d like to talk with you.

What You’ll Do

• Build high-end custom cabinets, built-ins, vanities, islands, furniture-style cabinetry, and architectural woodwork
• Build cabinet boxes and face frames accurately from drawings and cut lists
• Assemble, fit, and prepare cabinetry for finishing and installation
• Fit inset doors and drawers with precise, consistent reveals
• Build and fit finished ends, applied panels, fillers, moldings, and other custom components
• Read and interpret cabinet drawings, dimensions, and cut lists
• Operate table saws, sliding saws, planers, jointers, routers, shapers, sanders, and other woodworking equipment
• Measure, cut, machine, and assemble components accurately and efficiently
• Identify problems with dimensions, materials, or components before they become larger issues
• Inspect your own work and maintain our quality standards throughout the build
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work collaboratively with other builders, finishers, and installers to move projects through the shop

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of professional cabinetmaking or custom woodworking experience preferred
• Humble but confident team member willing to positively contribute to workplace environment
• Experience building custom cabinetry from drawings rather than assembling pre-manufactured cabinets
• Experience with inset cabinetry strongly preferred
• Strong measuring, layout, machining, and assembly skills
• Working knowledge of cabinet construction and woodworking joinery
• Comfortable operating professional woodworking machinery and power tools
• Ability to build accurately to tight tolerances
• Able to work independently and solve problems once trained in our standards and processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, productive, organized, and able to work well as part of a team

You don't need experience with every item above, but you should have a strong foundation in professional cabinetmaking and a desire to continue improving your craft.
