A well-established and growing commercial electrical construction company is seeking a highly experienced SeniorElectricalEstimatortoleadestimatingoperations,improvebidaccuracy,andprovidementorshiptoanestablishedestimatingteam.Thisisaconfidentialdirect - hireopportunitywithlong - termleadershipgrowthpotential.
Theorganizationhasbuiltastrongreputationforqualityexecution,accountability,andcollaborationacrossfieldandofficeoperations.Thisrolewillworkcloselywithexecutiveleadershiponbidstrategy,backlogplanning,andcontinuousimprovementinitiatives.
PositionOverview
TheSeniorElectricalEstimatorwilloverseeestimatingeffortsforlarge - scalecommercialandmission - criticalelectricalconstructionprojectswhileprovidingleadershipandqualitycontrolfortheestimatingdepartment.Thisindividualwillplayakeyroleinimprovingestimatingprocesses,managingrisk,andensuringcompetitiveandaccurateproposals.

- Partnerwithexecutiveleadershiponbidstrategyandforecasting
ElectricalEstimating
- Prepareandleadestimatesformajorcommercialelectricalprojects
- Performdetailedquantitytake - offsanddevelopcomprehensivecostproposals
- Ensureestimatesaccountforlabor,materials,subcontractors,scheduling,andrisk
- Reviewblueprints,specifications,andconstructiondocuments
BidPreparation&RiskAnalysis
- Compilecompletebidpackagesandsupportingdocumentation
- Identifyscopegaps,pricingexposure,andschedulerisks
- Recommendvalueengineeringopportunitieswhereappropriate
- Trackdeadlinesandensuretimelysubmissionofcompetitivebids
Client&VendorCoordination
- Buildrelationshipswithclients,vendors,subcontractors,andgeneralcontractors
- Solicitandevaluatesubcontractorandsupplierpricing
- Participateinpre- bidmeetingsandsitewalk -throughs
Qualifications
Required
- 7+yearsofelectricalestimatingexperience
- 2+yearsofestimatingleadershipormanagementexperience
- Strongcommercialelectricalconstructionbackground
- Experiencewithelectricaltakeoffs,budgeting,andblueprintinterpretation
- Abilitytoidentifybidrisksandscopegaps
- Experiencereviewingandoverseeingproposals
