Job Overview Role: Research Assistant – Family Medicine Location: Los Angeles, CA Job # : 29877 Employment Type: 4 – Staff- Limited (1 year) Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; occasional weekends, evenings as needed Salary: $36.37–58.52 per hour The UCLA Department of Family Medicine seeks a motivated Research Assistant to join a dynamic and fast‑paced team of highly experienced primary care physicians and researchers with a passion to improve patient health. Responsibilities Develop relationships and coordinate with clinic staff and providers across multiple primary/urgent care offices to identify eligible patients. Recruit patients to enroll and conduct in‑person patient screening. Obtain informed consent, complete participant enrollment procedures, and perform participant follow‑ups. Perform data quality checks, organize medication deliveries to participants, and send and track participant incentives. Meet patients outside of the clinic for enrollment procedures as needed. Communicate regularly with the study team, report in meetings about recruitment progress, and identify strategies to improve recruitment. Participate in larger team calls with all participating sites. Prepare monthly reminder call schedules and meeting agendas, develop written protocols, and maintain FAQ documents. Generate figures for reports, code and analyze semi‑structured interviews using qualitative analysis software, manage data, and review scientific literature. Perform miscellaneous administrative duties such as scheduling, taking meeting notes, and coordinating and verifying transcriptions. #J-18808-Ljbffr Veterans in Healthcare
