Financial Clearance Specialist III

Overview Our client is seeking a Healthcare Financial Clearance Specialist III in Irwindale, CA. This is an onsite 6‑month contract opportunity with the likelihood of an extension or direct conversion, and a pay rate of $29.47 per hour (benefits are available). Responsibilities Examine and assess clients' financial numbers and situations, and help clients reduce and eliminate their debt through a debt management program and plan, and save for retirement. Gather clients' budget information, financial obligations, and goals. Detect and analyze clients' financial problems and needs, submit summaries, and produce reports documenting research and analyses. Recommend and counsel clients on financial options or solutions, using knowledge of consumer debt, consumer loans, types of interest, investments, tax laws, and insurance. Qualifications Recent experience with Epic EMR or 5–10 years of previous relevant experience. Strong background in submitting and reviewing authorizations in a cancer hospital. Experience in insurance and benefits verification. Experience working with major insurance plan web portals. Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. #J-18808-Ljbffr
