Join Farmers Insurance's year-long Protg Program at Quayle Insurance Agency and get hands-on training in sales, service, and agency operations with a real path to becoming an independent Farmers agency owner. No experience? We'll help you get licensed. All you need is drive.
Quayle Insurance Agency is looking for a motivated, entrepreneurial individual to join Farmers Insurance's Protg Program a year-long, hands-on training path designed to prepare you to become an independent Farmers Insurance agency owner. This isn't just a sales job; it's a launchpad. You'll work directly within an established agency, learning the business from the ground up sales, service, marketing, and agency operations with the goal of stepping into ownership of your own book of business at the end of the program.

Responsibilities- Sell and service commercial and personal lines insurance policies alongside agency staff
- Learn agency operations, including staffing, budgeting, and book management
- Generate new business through outside marketing, networking, and community outreach, as well as internal lead sources
- Build client relationships with a focus on retention, referrals, and long-term growth
- Participate in structured Farmers Protg training milestones and evaluations throughout the program
- Maintain compliance with state licensing and carrier requirements
- Work toward meeting Farmers' production and performance benchmarks required for agency appointment
- Property & Casualty insurance license preferred we'll help you get licensed if you're not there yet
- Strong entrepreneurial drive and long-term interest in owning your own agency
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter mentality comfortable prospecting and marketing outside the office
- Willingness to commit to the full year-long program and meet Farmers' Protg milestones
- Entry-level candidates welcome; prior insurance or sales experience is a plus but not required
