Position Summary: The position of Manager of Telecommunications and Audio Visual will report directly to the Director of IT Infrastructure. In this pivotal role, you will help shape the future of communications at client, supporting both clinical and non-clinical departments such as Revenue Cycle, HR/Payroll, ERP, Finance, Integration, and IT Security. This is a hybrid position with at least 2 days on-site required in the Bridgeton office.

As part of our team, you will:

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of a competitive and industry-compliant telecommunications and audio-visual infrastructure across multiple facilities.
• Oversee the installation, optimization, and ongoing support of telecommunications systems, ensuring peak efficiency and reliability 24/7, 365 days a year.
• Develop and enforce telecommunications policies and collaborate with vendors and contractors on technology upgrades.
• Direct and mentor a dedicated team of telecommunications professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and a commitment to high-quality customer service.
• Manage budgets, track performance metrics, and champion continuous process improvements to strengthen our communication environment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic management and optimization of the organization's telecommunications systems and equipment to ensure performance, reliability and scalability.
• Develop, enforce, and continuously refine telecommunications policies and best practices.
• Identify telecommunications needs across the healthcare system and assess their alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with vendors, to evaluate, procure, implement new telecom and AV products and upgrades.
• Manage contracts, service-level agreements, and obligations with telecommunications and AV service providers.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunications network equipment.
• Analyze network and AV system performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with Network team to enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of telecommunications and AV systems.
• Lead the staff, providing coaching, evaluations, and guidance.
• Coordinate scheduling and resources to ensure efficient internal and external communications and AV services.
• Review and optimize communication and AV workflow processes, educating staff on best practices.
• Maintain fiscal responsibility for the telecommunications and AV department budgets.
• Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in telecommunications and AV services.
• Ensure redundancy and disaster recovery plans are in place for critical telecommunications and AV systems.
• Maintain and update telephone directories, AV configurations, and mass messaging platforms.
• Respond promptly to telecommunications and AV issues and outages, implementing standardized procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and AV departments to align technology and infrastructure needs, ensuring seamless integration of telecommunications and AV solutions throughout the organization.

Position Experience Required:

Experience within a health care organization a plus

5-8 years of experience managing, designing and implementing telecommunications technology with 3+ years of leadership/supervisory role.

3+ years of hands-on experience with IP Telephony, VoIP, SIP Trunking, LAN/WAN, routing, firewalls, and quality of service (QoS)

Preferred experience with the Avaya platform

Experience with 8x8 platform is a must.

Experience in managing and delegating multiple projects

Experience with managing team of 10+ engineers and/or technicians.

Advanced PC skills and use of Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc)

Position Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related area preferred. Experience in lieu of degree will be considered
