Job Summary:
The Telemetry (TELE) Nurse position is based in Silverdale, Washington, at a medical-surgical and telemetry unit. This role involves caring for medical-surgical overflow patients, including those with conditions such as congestive heart failure, diabetes, urinary tract infections, non-critical sepsis, hypertension, COPD, and post-operative care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, with a potential to float as needed.

Job Details:

• Location: Silverdale, WA
• Schedule: 12-hour nights, every other weekend, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Nursing License; BLS and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in acute care; experience reading electrocardiogram strips (pending approval); ability to titrate heparin and Cardizem drips (up to 10 mg/hr)

• Additional Information:
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in acute care
  • Experience with medical-surgical overflow patients such as CHF, DM, UTI, non-critical sepsis, HTN, COPD, isolation, end-of-life/palliative, awaiting placement, post-op from general surgery
  • Common titratable drips include Heparin and Cardizem
  • Tele/Monitor Techs are on this unit; RNs are required to read strips (pending approval)
  • Nurse Aides are present on this unit with a ratio of 1:9
  • Equipment such as CPAP and BiPAP is used; No high-flow oxygen
  • Unit-specific orientation is 2 shifts
  • Notes obtained via email; entry date: 05/28/2026
  • The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts in a 13-week assignment or 3 in less than 13 weeks
