Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in transplant care to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to pre and post liver, kidney, pancreas, and intestinal transplant patients.
• Monitor and manage patient drips, including Nitro, Heparin, and Insulin, following hospital protocols.
• Float to different units within scope, supporting various departments as needed to meet hospital staffing requirements.
• Utilize EPIC for accurate and efficient patient documentation and charting.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, including maintaining a 100% nicotine-free environment.
• Contribute to a safe care team environment, collaborating with CNAs, care techs, and transport teams.

Qualifications

• Current registered nurse license required; Nebraska state license preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS and CPI preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a large, urban hospital setting.
• Proficient in EPIC charting and electronic health record systems.
• Experience with managing cardiac and vasoactive drips on multiple unit floors.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, with flexibility to meet facility needs.
