Tax Manager - Hybrid - (San Francisco, CA) Job Summary: We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our Tax Team. The Tax group is a dedicated team of professionals who work in conjunction with our wealth advisors to provide tax compliance services to our high-net-worth clients. We do not do audits or assurance work, and there are no business development requirements. As a member of the Tax Team, the Tax Manager is primarily responsible for leading client relationships, preparing, reviewing and delivering income tax returns, tax projections, and analysis. The Tax Manager has a passion for client service with experience in individual and entity tax preparation and review. The Tax Manager is personable, demonstrates superior communication skills, and possesses the flexibility to multi-task in a fast-paced tax services environment. Essential Job Functions: Prepare, review and sign tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and businesses Create quarterly estimates and projections Communicate with clients on all matters related to the delivery of income tax returns Perform tax research Respond to tax questions, estimates, projections, and analysis in a timely and accurate manner with both tax and wealth management clients Work with tax staff to respond to tax notices and review correspondence Stay up to date on tax law and any changes, and communicate the effects of law changes to clients Mentor a team of Senior Tax Associates, Tax Associates, and/or Tax Support Specialists in the local office or region, as assigned All other duties as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Minimum 5+ years of public accounting experience, or equivalent experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Strong tax code knowledge and general accounting skills CPA and/or EA required Experience with CCH, including Axcess, Workflow and Practice, and SafeSend, a plus Highly organized and tax-oriented Ability to handle a large volume of activities at one time Ability to communicate concepts to clients and advisors in a concise and understandable fashion Must be detail-oriented and have excellent time-management skills Work Schedule: This professional role requires availability during standard business hours of Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM, and Saturdays as needed during tax season. At times, the role may have early or late hours to meet business tasks and deadlines for external and internal client needs. Working Conditions: This position may be in a professional office environment or a dedicated home office workspace. The role involves routine sitting and standing. No heavy lifting over 10 lbs. Base Pay Range:

$106,250 - $125,000 USD
