Job Description
This role focuses on producing high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell in a controlled cleanroom environment. You will perform detailed assembly work and operate a variety of equipment and machinery by following documented procedures and standardized processes. The position involves electronic and mechanical assembly, casting and coating functions, packaging, and routine cleaning of tools and equipment, all while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Assemble cardiovascular medical devices and related components in a manufacturing cell according to documented procedures and work instructions.
Perform detailed electronic and mechanical assembly, including casting, coating, and packaging functions as required.
Operate various manufacturing equipment and machinery in a controlled cleanroom environment, following standardized procedures.
Use microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering tools, and adhesive bonding techniques to complete precise assembly tasks.
Perform routine assignments and tasks according to specified procedures, with work closely and continually reviewed for accuracy and quality.
Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies to verify conformance to quality standards.
Perform tests on units using computerized test equipment and record results accurately.
Repair and correct devices and components using microscopes and appropriate tools when issues or defects are identified.
Clean tools, equipment, and work areas according to documented procedures to maintain a clean and compliant environment.
Package devices carefully, ensuring all parts are correct, properly labeled, and documentation is complete and accurate.
Maintain accurate records so that travelers, shop floor paperwork, and quality documents are complete, traceable, and compliant with quality requirements.
Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate safety devices and equipment when performing operations.
Support overall production goals by working collaboratively within the manufacturing cell and adhering to production schedules.
Essential Skills
At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Basic English skills for reading, writing, and understanding work instructions and documentation.
Experience with assembly work in a production environment, preferably involving medical devices or similar products.
Ability to work in a controlled cleanroom environment and follow strict cleanliness and handling procedures.
Capability to use microscopes for detailed inspection, repair, and assembly tasks.
Skill in operating manufacturing equipment and machines according to standardized procedures.
Comfort using hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering tools, and adhesives in a safe and precise manner.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform visual inspection and precision measurements.
Ability to follow routine, standardized assignments with close supervision and frequent review.
Commitment to following safety guidelines and using required personal protective equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in medical device assembly or other regulated manufacturing environments.
Experience in cleanroom production, including gowning and contamination control procedures.
Familiarity with maintaining accurate travelers, shop floor paperwork, and quality documentation.
Experience in machine operation or production operator roles.
Exposure to food service or similar fast-paced, process-driven environments, demonstrating reliability and adherence to procedures.

Work Environment
You will work in a manufacturing cleanroom environment that supports the production of cardiovascular medical devices. The role involves working at microscopes and using specialized tools and computerized test equipment to perform precise assembly and inspection tasks. The facility operates with strict cleanliness and contamination control standards, including adherence to global gowning procedures. The dress code requires a professional, businesslike appearance, with clothing that is clean and free of rips, holes, stains, or suggestive or derogatory language, images, or slogans. Exposed or revealing clothing, pajama pants, bedroom shoes, and house slippers are not permitted. Additional cleanroom-specific requirements include no makeup, no false eyelashes or eyelash extensions, and no jewelry to maintain product and environmental integrity. You will be expected to follow all safety and cleanliness protocols while working with microscopes, machines, and other production equipment in a structured, process-driven setting

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $22.83/hr.
