Sr Director, U.S. Ethics & Compliance Advisor, Medical Affairs

Senior Director role providing ethics and compliance guidance to U.S. Medical Affairs at a pharmaceutical company. Leads a team, partners across organizational functions to integrate compliance programs, and ensures adherence to regulatory and ethical standards in medical-commercial interactions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary ethics and compliance advisor for U.S. Medical Affairs activities and leaders
- Review activities and provide guidance on ethical medical-commercial interactions and compliance requirements
- Lead team, develop talent, mentor professionals, and foster high-performance culture
- Deliver training and educational sessions on ethics and compliance to stakeholders
- Collaborate with Legal, Commercial, Medical, and Clinical Development to operationalize compliance processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 14+ years experience, or Master's degree and 12+ years experience, or PhD and 12+ years experience
- Extensive in-house experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or highly regulated industries
- Management experience and ability to mentor and supervise a team
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Juris Doctorate or fully qualified legal credentials preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance, data privacy, and industry regulations
Compensation: $205,615–$266,090 (Other U.S. locations); $226,185–$292,710 (Bay Area)
