Overview Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a Mental Health Associate - Full‑Time Nights 7P - 7A. City/State: Suffolk, VA. Work Shift: Third (Nights). Responsibilities Performs direct and indirect patient care activities for mental health patients, including technical duties in support of nursing care and under supervision of an RN. Leads and co‑facilitates educational and activity groups. Assists with milieu management to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff. Education Bachelor's degree required or 4 years' experience in behavioral health setting accepted in lieu of degree. Certification & Licensure Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 15 days of hire. Experience One year behavioral health experience – required.
