Paralegal - Corporate Finance

We are seeking a Paralegal to join our team. The Paralegal will assist attorneys and practice groups in various types of legal matters and provide assistance in preparing legal documents; researching and compiling data; preparing drafts of documents; and maintaining responsibility for files, calendars, and meetings, etc. Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Gather, organize, summarize, and index documents from various sources. Attend and participate in meetings and/or closings. Prepare documents and correspondence. Prepare and submit UCC filings and other real‑estate related filings (e.g., mortgages). Complete special projects and duties as assigned. Required Skills Strong organizational skills to work independently and meet deadlines in an environment with frequent interruptions. Ability to maintain daily accounting of time records and input timesheets directly into the system. Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of internal staff, attorneys, and external clients. Analytical and critical thinking skills sufficient to make decisions regarding daily work. Strong time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately. Required Qualifications & Education 1 – 4 years of experience in a related area. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Preferred Qualifications & Education Paralegal certification a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Moderate or advanced keyboard usage.
